Rila Monastery has endured ten centuries of the elements, raids and attacks and it lives on, preserving the magnificence of its medieval wall paintings. Colours and themes come together in unique frescoes that invite the viewer to humbly bow. Bozhidar Chotorov is a fervent traveler, travel and urbex photographer, a lover of nature that has a dynamic life of extremes. His project Time Machine aims to discover less familiar intriguing, beautiful spots in Bulgaria and popularize them via photography.
